Freshteam is being retired. Here is where to move.
Freshworks stopped Freshteam renewals on 7 March 2026 and closed it to new signups. Remaining accounts run until April 2027. If you were on the free plan — up to 50 employees and three open roles — the suggested path is Freshservice, which is priced higher and is an IT service desk first.
Most teams need two to four months for an applicant-tracker migration. The deadline is fixed, so the useful thing is to export your candidate data now, even if you have not chosen a replacement yet.

Export your candidates from Freshteam
In Freshteam, go to Recruit → Candidates and use the export button in the top right. The CSV is emailed to you. Do this per job, or all candidates at once.

Create the job post here
One post can hold several roles. You get a single apply link to share anywhere — no careers-page setup needed.

Import the CSV
Open the post and use Import. Freshteam exports a split First Name / Last Name, and the importer reads that as well as a single Name column. It matches email, phone, job, experience, current and expected CTC, notice period and résumé link, and skips duplicates.

Let it rank them
Every candidate is scored against what the role actually asks for, including budget fit, so you start from a shortlist rather than a folder of PDFs.
What you gain, and what you lose
Worth being straight about this: Freshteam was an HR suite, and this is not. If you used it for employee records, time off or onboarding, those parts are not replaced here and you will need something else for them. What follows covers hiring.
